Armpit Sweating - Is There a Way to Cure It?

Excessive armpit sweating - most people who have never had this issue, would never understand the embarrassment and anxiety that goes with it. If you're reading this article, you're probably one of more than 200 million people, to whom sweating is not just a natural process that occurs only when you work out in the gym. To you it's a curse. In the coming hot months it can become even worse. You constantly wear black, so that nobody would notice any sweat spots under your arms, you carry napkins to soak up the sweat, and you are in a constant anxiety - which makes you sweat even more.

If that's something you suffer from, you should fix it - the price that you pay for living this lifestyle for a while is low self-esteem, and difficulties in social life. Let's face it - constantly avoiding social situations is not a good thing. Today in society people often link underarm sweating with not showering regularly, or having poor hygiene. Of course that's not the case.
Scientists are not yet sure on what causes armpit sweating - they know that some people have overactive sweat glands.

Here are a few tips for you:

- Don't drink caffeine or caffeinated drinks - that will make your problem worse, as caffeine stimulates your nervous system, which also controls sweating.

- Wear polyester fabrics - they are lightweight and dry out quickly, unlike cotton.

- Drink plenty of water - that will replenish the liquids lost by sweating, and will lower your core temperature, making you sweat less.
