Excessive Sweating Problem? - 4 Techniques to Stop Excessive Sweating

Are you suffering from an excessive sweating problem? Your body could just simply have more sweat glands than is typical, or you could be suffering from a condition known as hyperhidrosis. If your excessive sweating problem is consistent no matter what type of activity you do or what temperatures you're in, you should consult with a doctor to find out if you have hyperhidrosis. There are certain prescriptions that may help with sweating problems.

Meanwhile, the following tips can help you control excessive sweating:

1) Check Your Deodorant You might think you're using an antiperspirant, when in fact it could simply be a deodorant. Deodorants don't help an excessive sweating problem - they merely cover up the odor. Sure we all want to smell nice, but you would like to feel dry as well right? Try to find an antiperspirant with aluminum chloride, which blocks the pores to prevent excessive sweating. Additionally, Adidas recently came out with a new antiperspirant which doesn't contain aluminum chloride but seems to be getting positive reviews. It's called 24 Hour Control CottenTech+.

2) Avoid clingy clothing Clothes that cling to your skin and prevent airflow will not help your sweating problems. A great alternative is to wear cotton, which is a fabric that's known for it's breathable qualities.

3) Wear Light Colored Clothing Nobody likes sweating through their clothing, much less having it blatantly obvious to anyone who looks. Light colored clothing will help disguise any marks that arise due to excessive sweating, as it's less visible. Dark colors attract heat, and heat will just cause your sweating to get worse.

4) Avoid Hot Drinks Get into the habit of drinking water to keep yourself from sweating excessively। Hot drinks can speed up sweating. Drink plenty of water, at least eight glasses a day. Not only will this help control an excessive sweating problem, but water is essential for our bodies to function at their best.
